I was looking into buying the huntsman elite, but there's a wrist rest on it. I've never used 1 before, and I don't really intend on using one, as I imagine it slows downwards my left-hand move over the keyboard. (My keybinds for games are really weird. I use the pointer keys, but proceed any hotkeys most wasd, so I shift my left hand a lot to get to both.)
So, I was wondering if there would exist a manner to remove it from the keyboard. I haven't found anything that specifically states that information technology can detach, but several other posts/news manufactures have hinted that it is possible to detach.

Wristrest in Huntsman Elite is removable (information technology just connects to the keyboard via some "docking" port, that enables underglow also on wrist rest).
The wrist rest is removable and comes separate in the box. Though I will say that the rests that come up with the Razer keyboards are some of the most comfortable I have ever used.
